Power consumption
The heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems can be integrated by IPBuilding and customised per room or depending on whether you are at home. We can further reduce energy consumption by using motion sensors in combination with light and time-based controls, active sunscreens and controllable electrical outlets that eliminate standby consumption.
Smart Assisted Living
IPBuilding also focuses on the healthcare industry. Our Smart Living solutions were developed with and for senior citizens and persons requiring care. The ICE Call emergency call system is the most innovative system on the market and is perfectly integrated into the system. It provides an all-in-one solution for residents, family members and the building manager.
If certain network requirements are met, the videophone feed (video and audio) can also be sent to the resident’s tablet. This is useful if, for example, the resident is in the cafeteria or visiting neighbours. If a person calls the residential care assistant, this person will have a video, speaking and listening link via the tablet. The touchscreens in the assisted-living housing can also be used as an intercom system. Residents can call the residential care assistant or the reception desk and vice versa. If desired, you can also call other residents.
